Automated data collection and processing of personal data

If a user registers as a user of the service, personal data will be stored according to how the user interacts with the site. For example, shopping with us will cause your address and other contact data to be stored. If, when checking out, an account is created as well, the data will be stored in the user’s account.
The data is stored to enable normal website and webstore operations. Only people who manage orders, contacts or marketing will be allowed to view each data point regarding customers. Personal data will never, except when required by law, be released to third parties or any persons, who they are not immediately relevant to.
Feedback and contact can be sent through a form on our site. The data the users sends will be stored for the purpose of replying and taking note of the said feedback or contact.
This website saves and processes data in accordance with our Registery and Privacy Policy statements.
What are cookies?
A Cookie is a small text file that is saved to your internet browser’s temporary storage. Practically all websites on the internet use cookies in some form.
What cookies are not?
Cookies we use are not: a virus, a trojan, a worm, spam, malware or a program meant for spying. They do not open pop-ups.
What data is stored in cookies?
Cookies do not, in general, store sensitive data like credit card numbers, photos or images or other personal details. They store technical data, statistics, settings you have made to your user account or the site’s user interface, content viewing habits and times etc.
The cookies are not related to a person, but to the browser a person uses. This is clarified by the fact that if a user, for example, uses Chrome to browse the web shop and adds something to the basket (this uses a Cookie so the cart can work; this is the working method of nearly all web shop cart applications on the internet), and then the user switches to Firefox, the cart will not show anything. This is because the cookies relate solely to the browser being used, not the computer, the user, or the device.
What kinds of cookies are there?
Technical: (often called ”required” cookies) These cookies store data such as shopping basket contents or how many products or blog articles the user wants to see per page etc.
Analytic cookies: These cookies enable data analysis for several online tools such as Google Analytics or the analytics part of Facebook Pixel. This information includes such things as page navigation within the page, viewed blog articles or products, how far down has certain pages of the site been scrolled down before going back up etc.
Tracking / marketing cookies: These cookies enable product placement to the user’s other services such as Facebook and other sites the user engages with; a common example would be an ad that shows up in different sites on the internet after viewing a certain product.
What are local and third party cookies?
The website you are using uses its own cookies and third-party cookies. Third-party cookies are used primarily for analytical and marketing purposes and they include: MailChimp, Facebook and Google. Local cookies include information such as page settings and cart contents.
